Which is a media company that creates media products that are than distributed by Paramount Pictures. They have released a total of twenty-eight feature films, including the franchises of Shrek, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, Monsters vs. Aliens, and How to Train Your Dragon.

Product (Shrek 2) 


This computer-animated movie is produced by DreamWorks Animation and based on William Steig's picture book with the same name. Its purpose is to entertain young boys and girls of age 7 to 16.



Here are technical characteristics of the movie.



The film tells the story of ogre Shrek that faces problems when he gets married with his love Fiona who used to be princess, but now apparently she is a ogre too.
Here is a short overview of the story of Shrek 2: Shrek has rescued Princess Fiona, got married, and now is time to meet the parents. Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey set off to Far, Far Away to meet Fiona's mother and father. But not everyone is happy. Shrek and the King find it hard to get along, and there's tension in the marriage. It's not just the family who are unhappy. Prince Charming returns from a failed attempt at rescuing Fiona, and works alongside his mother, the Fairy Godmother, to try and find a way to get Shrek away from Fiona. Genre
Shrek 2 which is a 3D computer-animated fantasy comedy film was the second in the franchise. Its budget was $150 million and such stars as Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas were involved in creating this movie. For its genre which is comedy Shrek has all the main characteristics. It has funny characters which is the main feature for a comedy genre. Also, best story writers put a great effort in creating a story which would be funny and interesting.

Audience
The movie tells a story about an ogre that travels to meet parents of his wife but meets enemies on his way that want to separate him from his wife. This story can be particularly interesting for
boys and girls of the age between 7 and 16, because there is a lot of funny jokes and moments in it. Also, the audience may be widely attracted by interesting and hilarious characters.

The meaning was created though "Realistic, believable human characters; rich, organic natural environments; mixtures of fluids (especially interacting with characters); clothing with detailed textures and movement; and realistic hair, fur and fire". All these things were quite important for the animation team.

Production Process
The movie is produced with a help of 3D technologies such as computer animation which is the process used for generating animated images by using computer graphics.

In Shrek 2 a lot of camera angles are used as well as in every animated movie. Such camera angle as medium close up is used to show emotions of a character really precisely. Here is an example of such a shot where deep emotions of one of the heroes Cat are shown:

When talking about form of the movie, it is important to mention that a lot of tools were used to create the film. Such as lightning, that is bright through all the movie, and only in the moments that had to be scary or sad, the lightning was dim.



The style of the movie is cheerful and happy. The picture is bright, colourful and full of fascinating action through all the movie.
All these things make Shrek Forever and After a great animated film with beautiful animation, characters and story.
